On Wednesday, August 8, Google+ users are buzzing about Apple's decision not to pre-install YouTube on upcoming devices, and about pop star Justin Bieber's criticism of Prince William's hair.?
Apple ha,s announced that YouTube applications will not be pre-installed on the next generation of iPhones, iPads and iPods. While users of these devices will be able to watch YouTube videos through Apple's web browser the viewer software will not be pre-loaded on the devices.
Expectations are that Google will design a feature-rich YouTube application for Apple's App Store as an alternative to watching videos on the site through a mobile web browser. The license on Apple's iOS-tailored YouTube application recently expired and was not renewed.
Also causing a buzz on Google+ is Canadian pop star Justin Beiber's criticism of Britain's Prince William. The teenage heartthrob spoke out against Prince William's thinning hair in an interview with UK based Rollercoaster magazine, stating ""I mean, there are things to prevent that nowadays, like Propecia," "I don't know why he doesn't just get those things, those products. You just take Propecia and your hair grows back. Have you not got it over here?" Unsurprisingly reaction in the British press to the 18-year-old's comments has been largely negative. ?
