This year?s Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival is fast approaching! The 2012 Festival will take place throughout East Suffolk from Saturday 29th September to Saturday 14th October,?with the main weekend event being held at Snape Maltings on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September 2012.
The event is expecting over 90 exhibitors, showcasing organic vegetables, fresh and smoked fish, rare breed meat and game, cheeses, frozen yoghurt, jams, beer, wine and lager.? Most of the exhibitors? businesses are based in East Suffolk, reflecting the quality and variety of food and drink in the region and encouraging support of the local economy and reduction of ?food miles? by buying locally.
As well as exhibitors, the main festival weekend offers an impressive programme of talks, workshops and cookery demonstrations from top chefs to enjoy.? Chefs who have?confirmed that they will be visiting in 2012 include Henry Harris,?Matthew Fort, Tom Parker-Bowles, Angela Hartnett, Valentine Warner and Emma Crowhurst as well as many of the finest local Suffolk chefs.
